• Alignments

  Proper wheel alignment is important. Not only can misalignment wear out your tires prematurely and decrease your gas mileage, it can also interfere with your car's handling and present a safety issue. In a wheel alignment, we'll adjust your vehicle's suspension so that your tires contact the road at the proper angle. Different than a wheel alignment, tire balancing means identifying and correcting for any weight imbalances in the tire/wheel unit. If your vehicle is pulling to either side while you're driving If your vehicle pulls to either side while accelerating If you have recently hit a curb, or debris in the road If you have unusual or uneven tire wear After replacing worn suspension items At manufacturer-recommended intervals Tire rotation means moving the tires from one position to another to compensate for different weights on the front and rear axles. Regular tire rotation helps tread wear evenly. Most manufacturers recommend rotating your tires every 5,000 to 8,000 miles.

• State Inspections

  Texas law requires that all vehicles pass an annual state inspection. (Emissions testing may also be required in some cases.) A state inspection evaluates all of your car's safety systems, including brakes, steering, tires, exhaust, lights, horn, mirrors, seat belts, and windshield wipers. Texas drivers must show valid proof of insurance as part of a state inspection. While we're testing your vehicle, come inside and make yourself comfortable. If the kids are with you, they can blow off a little steam in our indoor, glass-enclosed indoor children's playground. Your Caliber Auto Care technician will tell you what needs remedying to pass inspection. Retesting is free within fifteen days. The best way to pass the inspection is to keep your car well-maintained and to make any necessary repairs.
